There were some interesting and subtle color combinations on Dries Van Noten’s runway. A happy taupe, with bright color pops of orchid, mustard, coral, and rusty tangerine. Hussein Chalayan’s print inspiration came from sidewalk, fences, and scaffolding, all in greys. But where there was a bit of color, his palette approached Van Noten’s in tone. Kenzo’s collection was all about the Russians, and a few of his prints were the colors of coral sunsets and stormy seas, inspired perhaps by the dachas of the Black sea.
