Who knew!  Birdhouses as surface design!  The ‘Spontaneous City’ installations have developed from a concept that the London Fieldwork duo Super Kingdom initiated in 2008.

I love how these form such a natural  form around the tree, especially with the variation in size,  and yet look so modular and architectural.  Plus little birdies can live in them! Yay!
