Christmas is almost here and for most of the world, that means celebrating with family and friends by the fire, with a hot chocolate in hand and watching the snow fall outside under an orange glow. But in Oz, the sun is shining and the beach is calling, so the Christmas theme and decorations are all about the bloom of summer. Pretty pastels and light linens are the main table staples, accented by bright flowers and a few decorations dotted about. Trees aren’t a must have here, so birch branches can be used instead to dangle the baubles, bunting and childhood knick knacks from the vintage toy box. Whatever the weather, it’s all about having fun and using your age old favourites mixed with seasonal foliage to bring your perfect Christmas look together!
