The stained glass look and its mosaic interpretations are rising to the forefront of trends for Fall. Last season Miu Miu’s early Roman-inspired mosaic prints kicked off the direction and many designers are following suit. Both Topshop and Karen Walker, with her shattered ceramic patterns, are incoporating this look into their collections. Taking it a step further, Alexander McQueen and Matthew Williamson bring precision into play in their bold oulined creations reminiscent of traditional stained glass windows.
