Botanical print interpretations appear across a range of menswear from classic suits to casual military inspired garb for Spring/Summer 11. Small scale liberty prints seem to be cast aside for big impact florals. Large scale watercolor flowers adorn tailored suits at Kenzo giving them a twist that will help brighten any man’s wardrobe after the greys and blacks of winter wear. Other techniques include graphic damasks, photographic-looking roses, as well as late 60s inspired hand drawn florals mixed with optical geometrics. Looks like men will be able to run wild through a botanical garden of options for next Spring.
i’m enjoying a mixture of masculine silhouettes with softer prints. i just wish my boyfriend would put something like that on.
