Calling all surface designers! Check out the pattern competition over at Threadless. Threadless is challenging artists from around the world to submit patterns inspired by “the idea of combining aesthetics from different cultures and periods of time.” The chosen prints will appear on a range of apparel pieces including hoodies, button-down shirts, dresses, and cardigans for their Fall Select 2014 clothing line. Like with all Threadless competitions, the submitted designs will be voted on by the Threadless community. But, get this, if your design is chosen, you will receive a 10% royalty based on the wholesale buy and/or Threadless.com sales revenue. So, start designing and upload your prints here since the competition ends July 7th.
