To say that photographer Julie Lee has a way with food would be an understatement! The talented Lee creates complex, yet extremely delicate patterns with nature’s finest edibles. Originally started as a way to showcase local seasonal fruits and veggies, the artist states that the project has “…evolved into an ongoing project in the study of plant design, exploration of color theory, and pure, unadulterated food-love.” When speaking of her motivations, the artist says of her work “I love delicious things. I love beautiful things. I love to create. I love to learn.” In addition to the gorgeous capturing of food on film, Lee also posts some lovely recipes on her blog.
