Interiors | Glitch Textiles

Using binary code and other digital techniques, artist Phillip Stearns translates technology into a softer form with his collection of glitch textiles. His range of woven wool blankets and wall hangings feature patterns generated by data visualization captured with short circuited cameras. Using images taken from programs such as Microsoft Word, iTunes, Google Chrome, and Mac OSX, Stearns makes visible the hidden data structures of our digital age.

The glitch trend is rapidly gaining traction in both interiors and fashion. Check out our earlier post on it here.
