This Friday marks the opening of Pricked, an exposition of needlework by talented artist, Dr. Axt, at PinHall Gallery in Portland, Oregon. Featuring The Closure Trilogy and Shrouds for the Afterlife, the exhibit consists of a series of hand stitched, layered, fabric wonders created with painstaking attention to detail.

Dr. Axt is also known for her crocheted coral reef compositions which have appeared at the Hayward Gallery in London via the Institute for Figuring.
