I just received Pattern by Tricia Guild in the mail from Quadrille Publishing, and I have to say, it is a wealth of information about interior prints and their origins. Tricia Guild is a British designer and founded home and lifestyle company, The Designer’s Guild.  If you’ve ever wanted to know more about Chintz, Chinoiserie, Cloisonne, Silk Damask,  Indian pattern, or countless other such things, rush out and get this book. If not, but your home is an upscale shabby chic sort of affair, this makes for a beautiful coffee table book.
