Do you ever wonder what happens to the remnants of fabric from fashion houses? Well, designer Caterina Gatta did just that and has been scouring Europe the last few seasons for distinctive vintage fabrics from YSL, Givenchy, Ungaro, Cardin and others. With these leftover patterned pieces, she whips up one-of-a-kind creations from palazzo pants to gowns giving a new lease on life to what was once discarded. The colorful textiles are cut with key holes and draped dramatically bringing these prints from the past into the 21st century.
