Now on display at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London is a magnificent exhibit on the Baroque movement. Known as the first global style, the Baroque look spread from Italy into Europe and then headed east, finally reaching the Americas, through trade of artisan goods, prints and other sundries. The ornate, decorative style influenced everything it touched from interiors, architecture, theatre, and fashion.
