For more than fifty years, Heath Ceramics has been creating tableware and tile in their Northern California factory using artisanal practices. In recent years, their classic style has been adorned by designs from creatives such as Alice Waters to the current collaboration with Los Angeles-based designer, Geoff McFetridge. McFetridge brings his loose, hand drawn illustration technique–which has appeared in campaigns and on product for companies like Nike and Stussy–to this custom dinnerware set and accompanying textiles. Hand painted or carved, the ceramic pieces exhibit abstract forms of hands, bodies, skateboards, and hybrid animals while the fabric features crowd scenes or individuals in quintessential McFetridge style.
