Interiors | A Bit Of Window Dressing

Paname | Butterflies By Christian Yu

Emma Jeffs | Rose Print

Often overlooked and somewhat neglected, the humble window deserves a little attention and some TLC this season. During the summer months,  light and fresh air flood into your home, but often so do the curious stares from onlookers and nosey neighbours. So the solution is window films. Although they’ve been around for a short while, the newer patterns have become much more intricate and less a re-interpretation of the old fashioned net curtain. Here Paname‘s designer Christian Yu takes inspiration from nature with life like butterflies and flowers repeated, creating a vibrant arts and crafts feel. While Emma Jeff‘s rose print moves the classic white lace look on, with pixelated flowers adorning a crisp white frame. Although not particularly cheap, these unusual window dressings are versatile, recyclable and easy to move around your house.
