Florence Broadhurst was an eccentric Australian surface designer who led an amazing life. Born in the late 1800s, she was an entrepreneur from the start, creating a series of different businesses throughout her life. She lived in China, as well as Great Britain, and would often use a pseudonym to mask her true identity. In her later life, she moved back to Australia and started a wallpaper/interiors company. Her success was cut short when she was found murdered. Her story and work is chronicled in this recent publication. – Jessie
