One trend that I was excited to see on the pre-fall ’14 runway, being the science nerd that I am, seemed to dive deep onto the molecular level. The molecules, often presented in a violent shade of green, seemed to spread from chemistry sets to allover prints on jumpers and t-shirts. Christopher Kane, who seems to enjoy the juxtaposition of science and fashion, is predicted to be setting a bit of a molecular trend in the next year. I stand a little taller knowing I’m not the only one who would’ve been happier double majoring in molecular biology and fashion design.
