A number of key stories jumped out from the AW14 Women’s shows. Print mixing was a huge theme, with loads of plaids, florals and animal prints jumbled into colorful lovely messes. Our favorite was Clover Canyon’s innovative and breathtaking collection. Black and white prints with an op-art edge also stood out and hurt our eyeballs a bit. And with a growing reliance on digital printing, prints can be blurred and distorted in all kinds of new ways. Now that the London shoes are underway, let’s what new stories emerge in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more print story reports from all the runways!
