Runway | The Inky World of Peter Pilotto

Nestled between diners, models swooshed through in elaborately printed silks, rainbow furs, and quilted jackets for Peter Pilotto’s Autumn/Winter 18 collection held at the dining-disco, Tramp, in London. With cuts reminiscent of the 1930s, the dresses appeared to be patched together with sun bleached floral printed fabric found long ago in Shanghai with indigo ink spilled in places. A sense of opulence abounds throughout the collection and is echoed further in the rich palette of reds, fuchsias, golds, and violets.
