Jessie blogged recently about fake-bookshelf wallpaper, and that got me thinking about trompe L’oeil fashion.A few seasons ago, fake necklaces hanging down the necks of tees were all the rage. But the fakery hasn’t stopped there. Fake buckles, basket weaves, cable knits, tile, scarves, bows, and suspenders were just a few of the trompe l’oeil details I found browsing around.
