Profile | Marlène Vion
InspirationYou might say Marlène Vion is lucky. Having grown up in the textile manufacturing haven of Lyon, France, Vion developed an early appreciation for surface design. Following her studies at the Fine Arts School of Lyon, Vion went on to work for H & M in Stockholm. Her fascination with cardboard manifests itself through the transformation of her flat designs into 3-D interpretations combined with embroidery and collage techniques. An avid tidier, Vion also claims counting and walking as favorite pastimes, while Art Brut and Jockum Nordström keep her inspired. View more of Vion’s work here.
