How many times have you tried folding a paper airplane only to have it do an immediate nose dive? Plenty, at least for me. The art of paper folding is a skill not many of us have, but for set designer, Lydia Kasumi Shirreff, the ability seems almost second nature. Her intricate engineered paper sculptures stand alone as art or, more frequently, appear as set props for products. Based in London, Shirreff takes her craft to a higher level for clients such as Adidas Originals, Asos, as well as The Serpentine Gallery.
