Profile | Dana Kinter
InspirationWhile doing some late night browsing, I stumbled across the new collaboration between Gorman and Australian artist, Dana Kinter. The collection features prints inspired by Kinter’s paintings of the flora and fauna found in the surrounding landscape of Southern Australia. Buff tailed thornbills, wattle bush, and protea all make an appearance while subtle references to Japanese culture and Art Nouveau weave their way into the pieces. Color takes its cue from the highs and lows of the region’s scenery making for a very wearable collection. Which pieces would you choose? I’m eyeing the lounge suit but might have to grab a pair of the trousers to spice up my every day wardrobe.
