Beauty | Nail Art
InspirationAs you know, we love Tanya Brown’s Pinterest boards so much that we asked her to contribute to our blog. I’ve been noticing her nail art pics for a while and wanted to share them with you guys. Seems like the possibilities are really endless with all this nail art! For me, I could never invest this much time into something that will last two days tops. I think I would get too upset when my beautiful creations would start to chip (and for me, that would probably start within hours.) But it’s fun to see people using their nails as little blank canvases for tiny works of art. Check out Tanya’s nail board to see sources for all these, plus lots more nails!

Some Buddhist monks participate in creating these highly elaborate sand mandalas. After creating them they destroy them, pour them into a river. It is done with purpose to remind them that nothing (no matter how beautiful) is permanent. Maybe this nail art could be used as the modern-day-women zen mediation?? I admit that I have a passion for nail art!!! Although, I indulge more on my pinterest board then in reality. Those nails are so pretty to look at!!
Wow, Tanya, that is so weird that you wrote that because I was totally thinking of those Buddhist sand paintings too! Don’t know why I didn’t mention them in my post but thanks for doing it for me here!
