Bethan Wood
InspirationBethan Wood cites color and proportion as her inspiration using marquetry, printing, and other techniques to capture pattern in layers. Her work spans furniture to accessories and includes intricate prints inspired by everything including cured meat. Since graduating from the Royal College of Art, this product designer has had her work purchased by the Musee de design et d’arts appliques contemporains Lausanne and the ABET museum.
A standout dresser, Bethan’s sartorial style is an extension of her pieces. Flowing harem pants, layered bangles crafted from wood, and granny slippers are just a few of the fashion flourishes found in Bethan’s wardrobe sourced primarily from flea markets and vintage shops.
