Marc Jacobs sweaters found at Bloomingdales, Barney's, and Shopbop.com

Originally, this post was going to be about cozy autumn outfits found on Boutiques.com, Google’s new fashion search engine. I was excited to try out the new site.  Based on the “likes” and “dislikes” that you enter in, Boutiques.com can supposedly determine your taste and show you only things you  like.  This didn’t work very well–the items that came up were not to my liking.   I had to basically sign out to see anything comprehensive.  That’s when I found the Marc Jacobs cardigan seen above in the middle.  I then went to my old standby, Polyvore.com for finding retail things, and strangely, my favorites there were Marc Jacobs too.  Same with Barneys.com.  Hmmm.  I guess what I learned is, Google’s got some work ahead if it wants to make customization really work  on Boutiques.com,  and that my favorite sweaters online are all by MJ.   So now this post is about Marc Jacobs sweaters that I wish I was wearing for my favorite holiday, Thanksgiving.  Oh well, maybe next year when I’m rich or these go on sale.  In the mean time, have a lovely holiday, hope you all have lots of yummy food, a minimum of family drama, and a nice nap after it’s all over.
