Hand painted, and then cut, the large scale works of artist, Celan Bouillet, capture more than your imagination. Based in Houston, Texas, Bouillet uses mixed media to create complex patterns and narratives by piecing together elements, often times with a layered effect. Her inspiration is drawn from traveling and textiles which guide her choice in subject matter. Bouillet holds a BA in English and a BFA in Painting from the University of Georgia, and a MFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art.
