InspirationIf you’re looking for a little delight enter the world of Parisian illustrator, Lea Maupetit. Her colorful paintings feature textural charm captured through layered composition. Working primarily in gouache and acrylic paints, Maupetit creates illustrations and patterns for clients as diverse as The New York Times and Milk Magazine. Somehow, she also finds the time to design for herself and chooses quirky themes, such as the public swimming pools of Paris, as her inspiration.
