Profile | Victoria Garcia

If you are an avid Pinterest user, then you may already be visually familiar with the detailed drawings of illustrator, Victoria Garcia. We have been charmed by her beguiling work for awhile now and decided it was high time to discover more about the artist. Her enchanted patterns and illustrations are composed of painstakingly drawn elements inspired by the botanical life found around her home of Sydney, Australia.

Working as a costume designer by day, Garcia finds stolen moments to fit personal projects and commissions into the mix. Her delicate drawings can be found in PATTERNBOX, a collection featuring 100 postcards by ten contemporary pattern designers published by Princeton Architectural Press. Garcia recently finished a beautiful tropical mural commissioned by Westfield Australia. To view more of her work, follow along on her instagram feed and you might even discover why her moniker is Surrocodelia.
