Just discovered this 3-D optical illusion rug on DesignMilk. “…designed by Mauricio Lara and Sebastián Lara of eos méxico. Inspired by the traditional ancient rugs and made with the same 3,000-year-old Tibetan technique, this rug explores tricking the eye and confusing the mind.”   This thing creates such an amazing effect!  And it’s great to see something so traditional warped into something mind-bending but also rally beautiful.  I would love to have this in my home but wonder if I’d have a lot of guests lose their footing and fall into the void…
